My business started over 20 years ago in the research of old timber ( oak, chestnut, ) from pavements leftover.
I use the term “old” because most people incorrectly say “antique”. “Antique” refers to very old original floors which have been recovered and restored original from France and England, ( patterned floor boards, panels).
The recovery and restoration of these types of flooring started 20 ago, but due to the invention and the avail ability of new materials, demand has decreased.
Now it is almost impossible to find and recovered floors of this kind, which has made the eventual demand coming only from auction sale. That said the only way to continue this passion has been to organize system in the recuperating of the same product (first matter) in Italy and parts of Europe .
Today through these systems I am able to produce the same flooring as the original but with it’s own history and soul exclusivity.
Through my national and international experience , along with 20 years of satisfied costumers , I guarantee a finished product which is ( has been?) exclusively hand-made by mind , heart and soul.
THERE'S ONLY A STEP FROM THE SUBLIME TO THE RIDICULOUS
In order to understand better i will explain my job by steps:
Step 1
Recovery,treatment and restorage of the timbers in our laboratory.
2 step
Manual cleaning and removal of the old nails from the timbers .we usually use a metal detector to find the nails otherwise they could damage the blades of our special machines during the cutting section.
Timbers are cut into slices ready to be worked, woodworms treatment.

4 step
Slices are worked in order to get the thickness required by the customer.

5 step
Board restoration with small pieces of wood ( same essence) or with special sealants or elastic resins ( for smaller slots).
